London hosts some of the biggest global red carpet events and is home to some of the most glamorous nights of the year. Along with the excitement of a movie premiere or awards show, there is also the intrigue and glitz of the various celebrities in attendance. And it’s not just the rich and famous that get the red carpet treatment; companies like Events Paparazzi offer their own red carpet services for your private or corporate event.

To give you some inspiration for your Hollywood-inspired occasion, we’ve picked out some of the most iconic London-based red carpet events of the century so far:

The fresh-faced child stars, far from style icons at the time, would go on to become household names, and J.K. Rowling would continue to capture the heart of the nation with her books.

Sir Bradley Wiggins, sporting his iconic mod haircut, took the top prize after winning the Tour de France.
